Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in the vibrant culture of Puerto Rico, DJ Mikey infuses his music with the rich rhythms of reggaeton, Afrobeats, hip-hop, and R&B. A self-taught talent, DJ Mikey discovered his passion for music at an early age, learning from his uncle and other family members who shared his love for sound. He also played the saxophone and is currently teaching himself the piano.

DJ Mikey’s commitment extends beyond music; he served in the Army for 15 years, an experience that took him to over 20 countries and enriched his appreciation for diverse cultures and sounds. His DJ career took off while stationed in Iraq, where he honed his skills and built his reputation. His big break came when he became a resident DJ in Italy, thanks to Davide Niró who recognized his talent and helped promote his career.
